You are given an encrypted crossword puzzle. Some of the letters are revealed and you have to decrypt the rest.
Encrypted letters are written in lower case italics.
If you select one of them you'll be shown all its locations.
Using the keyboard below you can replace them one by one until you fill the whole puzzle.
You won't know for sure if you are on the right track. You'll be told it's completed only if you decrypted everything correctly.
You have the possibility to backtrack by deleting a decrypted letter or you can clear all of them.
If you are stuck you can reveal a letter or you can skip but these options come at a cost.
Every puzzle is worth a score depending on many factors, but as a rule, a more difficult puzzle will have a greater reward.
If you choose to reveal a letter it will cost you 200 or 100 points depending on which option is selected.
When you play with cheaper reveals the rewards are lower.
If you hit the skip button you'll lose points depending on the level.
You should skip only if you think that you need so many helping reveals that it would cost you more than the reward plus the skip cost.
When you start a new game, if you don't have 1000 points your score will be raised to 1000.
Increasing your score will unlock larger puzzles.
When you leave the game you don't lose your score and progress.
