Play with Words

Every time we use a correct word in speech or in writing, we exercise our long term and short term memory. Do these exercises to enhance your verbal ability. I’m sure most of you watch the news in the morning. Every morning, remember the headlines and in the evening, try to write down those headlines verbatim.

When you meet someone new, try to come up with an anagram of his or her name. That’ll not only make you remember the person’s name but will also exercise your verbal abilities. Whenever you read a book, imagine that you have to write its summary for your English teacher. What points will you put into the summary and why? Learn a new language. Keep a personal blog.
